  • “Anna and the folks at Guardian have been just incredible. They run a clean, new facility that’s safe, well-lit and easily accessible. We rented a unit from them in order to de-clutter our house while staging it for sale. Anna walked us through all our storage options, showed us around the property, and secured a clean 10′ x 15′ for us. We chose a climate-controlled space. Even with the unit’s interior-facing entrance, access was easy. Guardian built their facility with wide hallways and doorways, and equipped each entrance with carts for moving items in and out. During our home sale process, our basement flooded in the 2013 Colorado Flood. We moved everything from our house into Guardian, which stayed completely dry during the flood! Anna helped us find a second, smaller unit to accommodate some of our additional belongings. This unit was located in a different part of the property, yet was just as nice as the first one we had rented. Finally, upon the sale of our house, we were able to arrange with Guardian to allow movers access to our units while we closed on our sale. Anna and Guardian Storage really came through for us in a time of need. I would recommend their outstanding, professionally-managed facility to anyone!”

Lucky number 13!

We are excited to announce that on May 24th at 9 am, we will hold a groundbreaking ceremony at 4750 William Flynn Highway to begin construction on a new state-of-the-art Guardian Storage property in Hampton Township, PA. This new location will be our lucky number 13 in the Greater Pittsburgh area.

As with all Guardian properties, our Hampton location will offer the latest in self-storage amenities, including climate-controlled space and advanced security features, and of course, the superior customer service for which we are known. Professional and experienced on-site managers will be available to help customers select the best space to meet their needs. Indoor units, accessible by covered loading docks, as well we drive-up units will be available in a variety of sizes. We know that people use storage for a variety of reasons – combining or separating households, staging their home for sale or while constructing a new home. In almost all cases, they are going through some sort of transition, so we work hard to provide an easy, convenient and supportive experience.

Guardian takes pride in providing well-maintained, secure properties by investing in technology such as individual storage unit alarms, digital video recording, gated entry, alarmed entrance doors, and fire protection services. Customers are given individual passcodes to gain access to the facility 365 a year.

Storage provides an opportunity for residents to store their seasonal belongings, antiques or other household items, but is also a valuable resource for local business owners. Retailers can store extra inventory and fixtures; small businesses can store equipment, supplies, important records and documents. We attract a lot of entrepreneurs and sales reps who utilize their storage unit as a base of operation. It’s much more cost efficient than traditional retail or office space and they know our properties are clean, safe and dry. It also helps that we also offer amenities like free Wi-Fi, coffee, use of meeting rooms, fax, and copy machines and package pick up and delivery.
