Customer Testimonials

  • ” …helpful staff…suggested ways to make my move easier. ..treat all customers with kindness and respect.”

    ~Leonard Edelson
  • “Anna and the folks at Guardian have been just incredible. They run a clean, new facility that’s safe, well-lit and easily accessible. We rented a unit from them in order to de-clutter our house while staging it for sale. Anna walked us through all our storage options, showed us around the property, and secured a clean 10′ x 15′ for us. We chose a climate-controlled space. Even with the unit’s interior-facing entrance, access was easy. Guardian built their facility with wide hallways and doorways, and equipped each entrance with carts for moving items in and out. During our home sale process, our basement flooded in the 2013 Colorado Flood. We moved everything from our house into Guardian, which stayed completely dry during the flood! Anna helped us find a second, smaller unit to accommodate some of our additional belongings. This unit was located in a different part of the property, yet was just as nice as the first one we had rented. Finally, upon the sale of our house, we were able to arrange with Guardian to allow movers access to our units while we closed on our sale. Anna and Guardian Storage really came through for us in a time of need. I would recommend their outstanding, professionally-managed facility to anyone!”

    Thanks a million! :)

Guardian Storage Joins other Pittsburgh Businesses to Support Allegheny County Schools through The Challenge Program, Inc.

Local businesses, including our very own Guardian Storage Robinson, contributed $85,000 to The Challenge Program, Inc. to support the Program’s efforts to motivate and reward students during the 2017-2018 Program year in Allegheny County high schools. Through The Challenge Program, Inc., sophomores, juniors and seniors are introduced to careers in their own communities and challenged to compete in five award categories that are directly linked with academic and workforce success: Attendance; STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math); Academic Improvement; Academic Excellence, and Community Service. Additionally, businesses engaged students in a variety of work-related activities such as facility tours, classroom presentations, career days and job-shadowing.

Guardian Storage Robinson and Parkway West CTC:

We have absolutely loved partnering with and supporting The Challenge Program, Inc. Recently, our Robinson location hosted the Pittsburgh Airport Area Chamber of Commerce Biz Blast luncheon and had their grand opening ribbon cutting. Eight student volunteers from Parkway West Career and Technical Center were vital team players in helping make the event a success. Culinary students assisted with food handling while public safety students managed traffic and parking. In addition, digital media students designed and provided signage for the event. This is just one example of the outstanding work ethic and volunteerism seen by the students we sponsor through The Challenge Program, Inc. We are so thrilled to be able to support students in our community.

The following Allegheny County schools and businesses partner with The Challenge Program, Inc.:

Forbes Road CTC/Forbes Hospital-Allegheny Health Network; Keystone Oaks High School/Carpenter Powder Products; Nazareth College and Career Prep/Fragasso Financial Services; Parkway West CTC/Guardian Storage; Pittsburgh Allderdice High School/The Marquis Group; Pittsburgh Brashear High School/SPUR; Pittsburgh CAPA High School/MARC USA; Pittsburgh Carrick High School/Remmel Foundation; Pittsburgh Milliones-University Prep/Huntington Bank; Pittsburgh Obama Academy/MARC USA; Pittsburgh Science & Technology Academy/WadeTrim; Pittsburgh Westinghouse High School/Remmel Foundation; Quaker Valley High School/First National Bank; Riverview High School/Jendoco Construction Company; Seton-LaSalle High School/Saint Francis University; Springdale High School/HarmarVillage Care Center; West Mifflin High School/Progeny Systems.
